1965 - The company was established on the 13th of January . It started its activity with the manufacturing of quality garments and also registered its trademark ' Veleiro' 1972 - The company acquires knitting looms and starts to produce most of the knitwear and fabrics used in its manufacturing unit 1973 - A section for automatic and fabric cutting (bias and straight) is created and starts offering these services to their customers 1974 - Starts a new unit in Amadora, where it installs all of its confectioning units . 1984 - Creates a production facility in Azeitão,Setúbal where it places their ketten and circular machines to produce knitted jersey,interlock, etc . The yarns used are : polyamide,polyester,cotton,viscose,cotton 1995 - The production facility in Azeitão starts to produce technical textiles for use in the automotive industry,construction industry,coating and insulation 2005 - The company complements the range of technical textiles with the production of geotextiles and nonwoven fabrics , as well as a full range of products for waterproofing and insulation of buildings
